To be able to apply for residence you must be granted Conditional or Final Acceptance by Concordia University. You will then need to go into your Student Portal and pay your acceptance fee to the university, afterwhich you will be eligible to apply for housing on campus.
In order to apply for residence you will need:
Once you have successfully logged in to the MyConcordia portal, choose Residence Application from the menu on the left. If you do not meet the criteria for residence you will not be permitted to continue the application, otherwise the application process will start.
Note that there is $100 non-refundable application fee that must be paid, Visa, MasterCard or American Express only, at the start of the process in order to access the form.
At any point during the application you can click on “Save & Exit”. Your answers will then be saved and you can continue the rest of the application at some other time. Once the application fee has been processed and the application completed you will be sent a confirmation by email stating that we have received your application. This does not guarantee you a room. Students will be sent a Room Offer by email officially offering them a room in a specific residence. Students MUST meet the financial obligations as set forth in the room offer letter by the deadline therein in order to secure their place in residence. Failure to do so will forfeit the room offer.
ROOMMATES
If you want to share a room with a friend you can do so by creating a Roommate Group in the application process. You will need your friend's full name and student ID number to do this. We will try to accommodate all roommate requests.
Please take the time to consider your responses concerning what you are looking for in a roommate, study habits, stressors, medical history, dietary restrictions, etc. before submitting the form. This information is important to us so we can best serve your needs.
